J.O.E. is still going strong! We’re still learning job skills, helping in the community and staying connected.
Here’s what we’ve been up to:
- Meeting online every Tuesday morning. Our J.O.E. baristas and staff shareideas, experiences and J.O.E. jokes!
- Painting rocks with inspirational messages and delivering them to the Guelph General Hospital front garden.
- Running a home-based cafe selling food to family members and donating the proceeds to Guelph General Hospital. Many thanks to J.O.E. Barista Ranju for his work on this.
- Holding a Food Drive for Lakeside Hope House
- Decorating mandalas and posting them on our doors in honour of Guelph front-line workers
- Donating art kits to be included in the Wellness Boxes distributed by the Community Company
- Writing caring messages on note cards for the Wellness Boxes.
