BUILDING RELATIONSHIPS

J.O.E. During Covid-19

To all our J.O.E. customers, friends and supporters:
We miss seeing you all!
Our Coffee Nooks are still closed because of COVID-19.

The good news:
J.O.E. is still going strong! We’re still learning job skills, helping in the community and staying connected.

Here’s what we’ve been up to:
  • Meeting online every Tuesday morning. Our J.O.E. baristas and staff shareideas, experiences and J.O.E. jokes!
  • Painting rocks with inspirational messages and delivering them to the Guelph General Hospital front garden.
  • Running a home-based cafe selling food to family members and donating the proceeds to Guelph General Hospital. Many thanks to J.O.E. Barista Ranju for his work on this.
  • Holding a Food Drive for Lakeside Hope House
  • Decorating mandalas and posting them on our doors in honour of Guelph front-line workers
  • Donating art kits to be included in the Wellness Boxes distributed by the Community Company
  • Writing caring messages on note cards for the Wellness Boxes.
